Due to the lack of any other knobs and CV inputs, I'm guessing it's just an I/O board for a bigger SID-based build, to place them inside the modular's interface.
Will check out the DIY Buchla in a bit... bound to be awesome though! I've got 2 PCBs for a complex oscillator clone, waiting for a 3rd to finish being designed and bought
