aside from that, if you read the thread, you'll discover that it isn't available for sale digitally due to licensing restrictions.

Re: Zero - Emit / Collect (Rennie Pilgrem Agatha Stomp)
Few people have email about this.
When Streetwise Recordings shut down (nothing to do with my part in streetwise) all the tracks where released back to the original artists.
We have tried to contact Zero on several occasions as I was approached by a few people who were after putting the tune on a mix CD. Even his publisher cant get hold of them.
I've also spoke to Rennie and he has had no joy either.
Sorry I couldn't be more help

Re: Zero - Emit / Collect (Rennie Pilgrem Agatha Stomp)
Justo to clear up a few other bits.
Zero - Emit/Collect (The Original) was on Streetwise STR002 (2003)
Zero - Emit/Collect (Rennie Pilgrem Agatha Stomp Remix) and Zero - Emit/Collect (Zero & Decibelle House Remix) was on Streetwise STR005 (2003)
Zero - Emit/Collect (Dumble Blond and Coburn Remix) and Zero - Emit (Precision Cuts Remix) was on Streetwise STR028 (2007)
There was also a cheeky one sided White Label vinyl that came out circa 2005 just of Rennie's remix...

I tried. found Alex on facebook, sent message and friend request got nothing back. Maybe they over it now. I know a few people from the era who all have hung up headphones and gone onto other things. Shame as it was some big people who wanted to licence the track for a mix CD.

so zero got the remixes as well, rather than the artists who did them?

Re: Zero - Emit / Collect (Rennie Pilgrem Agatha Stomp)
Don't quote me on this as the label had NOTHING to do with me in the slightist but I'd assume the remixers would of been paid for doing the remix and ownership would still belong to Zero.shaman wrote:so zero got the remixes as well, rather than the artists who did them?
In the same way say La Roux gets all the PRS payments everytime Skream's remix of In For Kill is played or used on a advert. It was her tune to start with.
I did email Rennie and asked him, he was pretty clear that he couldn't licence his remix with out Zeros approval.
After seeing the support I'd love to load you all up the tune to download, if I had anything to do with the label I might just do it. But as I said, that side of Streetwise had NOTHING to do with me so my hands are tied on that one !!

Nah. Cheers for your time.
I just thought that Streetwise would have 'bought' the remixes when they commissioned them and own the rights to sell them, with prs still going to the original artist as you stated.

Re: Zero - Emit / Collect (Rennie Pilgrem Agatha Stomp)
Who knowes Shaman they might own the remix's unfortuantly the only people who could confirm that are the original owners of the label Mr B, Vigi or Simon Homes. Vigi retired and I haven't spoke to him in years. Mr B has dissapered and Simon I think was last scene in a field in Glasto some years back...

so what you're saying is one of the most defining songs of the nu skool breaks genre of music is no longer officially for sale anywhere?
Breaks is definitely dead.
