tune id (sounds a bit like a Bushwacka tune)

Post by pearsall » Sat Oct 11, 2008 8:03 am

hi,

I found an old mix of mine (recorded in 2002) on mini-disc the other week and I've figured out most of the tunes, except for this one, which I have no idea what the hell it is. It's a breakbeat tune, probably from the early part of this decade, as opposed to the 1990's. It sounds quite like Bushwacka's style, although I've had a look at his profile on Discogs and none of the tunes listed seems to ring a bell. If anyone can help me out by id-ing it that would be great!

Here's the sample:

wow, i don't know what it is but i certainly want to. i don't think it's a bushwacka! tune (although it definitely does sound like one) as i've got most all of his old breaksy stuff and i don't recognise it. cheers for the listen :D

aka DJ RYU

ryu comes with wine in hand
his followers smile, what a wonderful man
but lo, their joy will not last long
for ryu is vengeful and ryu is strong
the chalice they offer to hold their mead
shatters to pieces and flesh does bleed
