Always wondered how people managed to get that *snap* at the start of their kicks. Wasted many an hour layering a snappier attack section over a lengthy sample with a long attack, with mostly poor results

I would like to echo that, with regard to looking for sampled Kick Drums. Other than that, I enjoy sculpting KDs from scratch in uTonic or other Percussive Synths, whether it's Hardware or Software based.
