[techno] no sleep
New sort of techno acid stuff I'm making. A bouncy bassy hybrid bastard. Let me know what you reckon.

I listened to this at Freero when I was twisted. At first I didn't like the vocals but then I had a word with myself and tried to stop being such a vocal hater and really liked what you had done.
It all sounds really nice and I enjoyed it in a suitable state

https://soundcloud.com/leftwingrecordin ... eftwing011 I have somehow done a track that has been released. I know, I don't know how either.

For me, the acid doesnt fit. not sure why but it just seems out of place. The rest is great though.

Boy that KD is big... it sounds like it has a bit of Reverb on it, or perhaps on a layer for the Kickdrum. I'm experiencing a little distortion on my cheap PC speakers, but I think it's the Reverb. The Sub and KD are on par with each other so now I understand the Mixdown.
I like the attention spent to that Clap that gets used every 4 measures. The 303 sounding Lead is interesting to me, in contrast with those Rhodes like stabs. Everything is working well for my ears. The Breakdown was my favorite part. This tune'd work well early in a House Set, 2nd or 3rd tune before upping the excitement.
My only critique would be @ 4:45. I wish more attention was given to the soft Acid Leadwork. Some Fills and a couple misc. Edits would have spiced it up leading into the Mix imho.

DLed, thanks for uploading it. I'll mesh it with some Progressive House someday. The Production sounds solid. When I use it in a Mix, I'll share it with you.alex_virr wrote:this is remastered and now up for download if anyone wants it.
