with my cloth ears and crap speakers the guitars sound crunchy and tight, the drums sound a bit bright and the vocal was good but doesn't sit with the rest properly yet

drums need more bottom end and more reverb - kick is not coming thru maybe some tape emulation

guitars need more reverb and are maybe a bit muddy

more hifreqs on bass so you can hear a bit of slap and tickle

vocals could be compressed harder and then a liberal amount of distortionz then some reverbs / subtle delay

you need to find some good short room reverbs that sound convincing

both

you need one reverb that for everything like maybe 0.7 secs or less to give it a room feel

the trick is to just audition loads of presets in a convolution reverb until you find some that you like that feel convincing and seem to lock onto the sound

then you can refine those by shortening and adding or removing predelay

you also need to find a REALLY short reverb that you like, less than 0.1 secs / 100 msecs

these are harder to find

when you've got these reverbs then you can bring the sounds together by creating a believable space for them all to live in that doesnt take over the whole show

ta. would you fx track them seperately and mix the two, or do it on the buses, or do it on the master?
