I hadn't heard of that before, but it does look cool, I have been planning on getting a Korg Monotribe, looks great for the money

I have just ordered one and am saving for the mini MS 20. :D

Sexy time can't wait. :batty: Got a couple of distortion pedals and fx racks to try it with for a bit of extra beef.

Tam - if I use the thru on a MC505 into the midi in for volca will I be able to use ableton or cubase editor for writing parts for the volca :chin:

you shouldnt need to involve the mc505 - unless you want to use its sequencer

to control volca from DAW you would be needing to connect midi out from computer to midi in on volca

unless you dont have a midi interface.....?

yeah ive got a (shit m-audio) midi interface but will be wanting to control 505 and volca patterns from editor in DAW so I guessed using 505 thru would be an option

yeah that would work

i wonder if anyone has tried recording the volca sync signal as audio.........hmmmmmm

i reckon you could fake a sync signal from an audio track, sync signals are pulse waves mostly

then your volca would lock to your DAW like glue

I've also bought one. Came in last week
I've ordered the Volca Beats also, can't wait to get my hands on them :)

I want to use Ableton or Reason (I'm not sure yet) to try to make something that could be classified as music :)

I'm a total noob with making music.
Luckily the korgs are really easy to use, now I just have to learn to operate Ableton or Reason ;)

I should have some music to share in -let's say- a year or two? :P

Lush :) The resonance curve is a bit steep at the end perhaps. My dog is not liking it!

I wonder what you reckon for novation launchpad vs APC20? I will be running ableton with hardware going through a wee mixer and just need something to trigger the ablefool parts.
