recently got introduced to renoise, which is a nice tracker.
not sure if anyone's interested, as i think this is a tool for beginners (and thus perfect for me), but thre's a lot of tutorials available for it.

I'm going to spend a bit of time watching the tuts here, it's been over 15 years since i tried to make music and i wasn't very good at it back then.
