Any good UK record stores still around?

Post by mistajase79 » Fri Aug 31, 2018 9:47 pm

I've really been left out the loop for nearly a decade.
Under certain circumstances I stopped DJing breaks and had to focus on other things going on in my life, now 10 years later I've got my decks setup again and going through my vinyl.

Having looked online I've discovered all the record stores I used to use have all shut down... Such a shame.
Anyway I'm really struggling to find a good supplier of fine breaks.

Has everyone moved to digital now? are there still some good vinyl stores still around?

Red Eye is still going - https://www.redeyerecords.co.uk/home/ - although they stock some proper weird stuff

Juno are still going and sell actual records, but there isn't much breaks on there (not many people pressing it it seems) https://www.juno.co.uk

Yes, Redeye that's one I can just about remember.. think I may of used them before.
So disappointed chemical records shut its doors they were awesome.

Looks like I'll have to invest in a dvs system - digital distribution seems to be the norm these days!
