MOFO Record label launch party 24/9/04

Post by hoganirold » Tue Sep 21, 2004 8:58 pm

Mofo @ Bar Vinyl. 6 Inverness St. Camden. Nw1.

Friday 24th Sept 7.00pm till 1.00am (Free).

DJs on the night:

Pete Samplers.
Dirty Habit (Mofo Recording)
Jimmy Mofo.
The Electrosluts. (Fusetrax)
Drunken Allstars.

Mofo Magazine will be heading on down to Bar Vinyl on the 24th Sept to celebrate the release of our first tune on Mofo Recording “Rockbox / Science Friction” by Dirty Habit,” due out in October.

Dirty Habit will be down their spinning their brand of chunky-funky high-octane breakbeat. Rockbox screams party and ignites dancefloors with a kick ass, power-horse dancefloor driven, rockesque breakbeat delivery! Science Friction is a deeper thought-provoking, mood-enhancing and forward-thinking tune. Also watch out for Strictly The Core by Dirty Habit on Liability Records.

Dirty Habit will also be joined by Mofo Magazine’s cover CD representatives Drunken Allstars (London) & The Electrosluts (Manchester) who are determined to settle the score, once-and-for-all, on who actually delivered the best cover CD for Mofo. There has been a north & south divide with inflated egos in both camps on which CD was the best. So Mofo has decided to get them together down at Bar Vinyl to battle it out and let you the public decide.

Pete Samplers will be warming things up. Watch out for Pete Samplers “Rude Girl Skank" out on Drunken Unstable Records.

After Bar Vinyl head on down to Egg for Fingerlickin’s Lee Coombs album launch.

The next issue of Mofo will be out end of October / November.
