How long have you been on NSB and what have you done in that time?

Anything not music related ends up in here - a place for our community to chat and joke. You need a thick skin to survive, and don't let the regulars put you off, they're (nearly) all a nice bunch of people.

Could have been breaksworld, it was about that time I came here.

You search for Steelz and cunt for then both to be in the same thread and guess what!

It will be 4 years in September for me. When I joined I was hooked instantly and was awarded Best Newcomer title in Off Topic end of 2004 awards which I was dead proud of in a really sad way. I moved out my parents with a lovely girl I met in 2005 and I have gone from the decks onto Ableton due to space issues in new flat. I had my own night in chesterfield (well me and a mate) but now the place is closed so I dj tearout (which I don't like) to warm up a drum and bass night. Each new year since being on here I have told myself I will start producing. In 2005, 06 and 07 this lasted 2 months each time. This year though I have stuck with it and I'm loving it. I feel like I used to when I first got my decks. Met a few people on here at Breakspolls and Flangestock and have yet to meet a nobhead, although I did meet damon but I was hammered so can't really remember if he was one or not.

hi, i'm karen. i've been on here almost 3 years and posted <-- that many times. in that time i have been left mentally disturbed by some of the threads and pictures posted on here, equally met some pretty wicked people (who no doubt also suffered with said posts), i left my husband and moved back down south from coventry, changed jobs 3 times, moved 3 times, been a breakbeat groupie, went over the top for at least a year with droogs and parties but fucked that off and now hold down a very sensible sales job and have been dating a psy trance dj for almost a year, but thats ok cos breaks are dead.
posie, perkin & pootle are playing catch...

I have been on NSB since it started when it was the old one not this one, i have helped and hindered in roughly equal measures, typed a lot of irrelevant shite and hit the submit button too may times. I have also met lots of groovy people and laughed and laughed...I know clod and have never let Allan kiss me. I have the t shirt.

awfully long time?

i like to complain about how shit everything is and then have a two year hiatus and then come back and complain some more.

Proudest moment was lobbying against the banning of Jung after he called a dead guy a cunt

Lowest moment being mean to Emskina relentlessly

Favourite moment texting Alana a picture of the ex with cum dripping off her chin

Most warm inside moment Sean making me a mortarboard

met and lost touch with various nice people (Hi Joe, James etc etc)

good times
