How long have you been on NSB and what have you done in that time?

Anything not music related ends up in here - a place for our community to chat and joke. You need a thick skin to survive, and don't let the regulars put you off, they're (nearly) all a nice bunch of people.

i've been here longer than my time says... cos it all got reset, so about a year longer than what it says over there
<<----------------------------

i've released tunes, i've done gigs, i've refined my grumpiness, i met keyop.

i've made some very good friends, i met my wife in the chatroom, who was telling me to kick my computer out the window at the time, i did some live broadcasting from glade, did some co-running of the site, fucked off to somewhere shit and then moved from there too.... ran a relatively succesful label and 'left' to start my own...

been a busy old time i tell thee.

hello

4 and a bit years me thinks.

Since joining NSB i have met a whole load of seeners who now count as some of my closest mates, plus met the battenberg that i now share a blissfully happy life with.

Won competitions, played loads of spaces, made a whole lotta mixes and played a small part in getting NSB radio of the ground.

Good times!

Year & a half-ish, in which time (in no particular order) i've started a radio show, played a few gigs, gone to a few seen breaks nights & met some seeners, met even more seeners @ Flangestock, moved our night from a pub function room to a proper club (which has now closed so we're about to move back again before the eventual big push to get something goin in manchester), got married (which got in the way of the DJing & promotion a little - time to get back on the case, giz a gig etc), & got a new job with a 25% pay increase which somehow doesn't seem to make a difference :(

What was the old site that had "covers the entire gamut of the breakbeat scene" when you entered?? breaksworld.com maybe?? I used to go on that before here and then it closed down. Does the dude still exist I wonder?
