How long have you been on NSB and what have you done in that time?

Anything not music related ends up in here - a place for our community to chat and joke. You need a thick skin to survive, and don't let the regulars put you off, they're (nearly) all a nice bunch of people.

I disagree.
so do I - a repeated copy and paste directly from WIKI does not constitute arguing.

I registered in 2004, but didn't post anything until 2006 (for some reason).

Since 2004, I've been to Canada and back, been engaged, lived with 2 boyfriends, moved from Manchester to Vancouver, to Southampton and ended up in Bristol, got 2 rats, had about 8 jobs, done my CELTA qualification and learned to mix.

Blimey!

Thanks to Nsb I have...

Gotten gigs.
Found out about a lot more music than I would have on my own.
Found someone who ran a net-label
Had an EP put on on said net-label
Organised DJ bookings without having to go through agents (much better)
Bagged myself a radio show.
Made friends with some people I would never have met otherwise, and who are champion seeners of the first degree :bo:

In this time in general I have...

Gotten Involved with running a night in Oxford, which I am now taking the majority of control for in Bristol.
Made lots and lots of music
Met a beautiful woman who I love more than I could ever express with words.
Failed my A-levels, and gotten into Uni.
Monged hard.
Oh look... Minimax done a mix!
MR MINIMAX - THE GOODNIGHT MISTRESS VOL.1
A mellow mix of ambient, downtempo and experimental music, electronic and organic.
Aids restful sleep and makes a perfect accompaniment for sitting back and watching the walls breath a little.

And if for some reason you wanted to read about my thoughts on life, the universe and everything... You might be able to do so here.

Hi I'm Yutefule, and I'm basically the NSB rags to riches story. The hapless wastrel turned savant, furling trends in new music as if they were my own ruffled hair follicles, levelling between abominable shrieks and swilling retorts, pungent enough to strike down even the most reverent forum user. I dash as fast as dopamine, between uplifting bell-lithen carouses and plummeting hysteria. I shake at the rattles of injustice, and administer evenhanded snippets of hardened righteousness. I am a superhero, a child's kite, a buccaneer. A lollypop lord, a vial of aconite, a disco diamante. I move in swells and breathe in swallows. I drink rare oysters and turn like Heather Mills. I am the reason you take pills.

Hello, My name is flange, and I have been addicted to nsb for 4 and a half of my 23 years on the planet.

Since joining nsb i have done about 200 temp jobs and somehow they paid me for all of them, i have had about 10 bookings and dj'd about 4 of them, i have my own mini festival for 2 years running. i have got lots of lovely mates, i have advertised and found a christmas boyfriend who i decided i might just keep and we have been living in bliss for the last 2 months, ah yes i also moved to london and looked after all my family for about a year, and this year i did a charity run with help of my trainer, breakbeat ledgend merka.

life is sweet 8)
