How long have you been on NSB and what have you done in that time?

Anything not music related ends up in here - a place for our community to chat and joke. You need a thick skin to survive, and don't let the regulars put you off, they're (nearly) all a nice bunch of people.

i like to complain about how shit everything is and then have a two year hiatus and then come back and complain some more.

Proudest moment was lobbying against the banning of Jung after he called a dead guy a cunt

Lowest moment being mean to Emskina relentlessly

Favourite moment texting Alana a picture of the ex with cum dripping off her chin

Most warm inside moment Sean making me a mortarboard

met and lost touch with various nice people (Hi Joe, James etc etc)

good times
:( what did i ever do to you?!?!!

i hope we are friends now.
i vaguely remember being annoyed by the word flange suddenly appearing in every thread. As you have made me laugh at least 6 times in my latest reincarnation as a forum member, i would very much like to extend the hand of
flange is just something one has to get on board with.

i would like to meet your hand of  with my hand of : :batty:

since joining NSB i've been exposed to lots of bad ass tunage...

learned lots of little production tips in the production forum, improved my djing/production/ableton+reason skills (i think)
gotten married, started little family, gone thru a bunch of shit with the government for getting my wife a green card. noticed my job performance going down... aside from the last two things, looking forward to more of the same :)

haven't seen you about for a while! Cruiselines? ;)
Yep, whoring myself out for $1.25 drinks on the seven seas. It's fun, get to work with top quality gear... midas boards and renkus-heinz and clair brothers rooms. It's fun!
I am not a dj.

Although my profile says: member since 20 feb 2007. I have actually been a member since Oct 2006 while randomly searching for breaks on the net.

(forgot my first password)

But it all counts;

I've had an uncontrollable addiction to music in general. :)

I have been on NSB for nearly 4 ½ years and have managed to do the following:
  • Been involved with one of the first shows to start on NSB Radio (SlackShot Sundaze which turned into the SlackShot Flipmat Sessions) which featured LIVE guests such as Meat Katie, Lee Coombs, Flore, A.Skillz and a few more I can’t remember
Ran a fairly successful Breakbeat night in Bognor for 12 months with Tim Harris from Breakspoll called ‘Wasted Audio’
Played in France for the Nordik Impakt Festival
    Moved to London
Met ze love of me life
Had my first single released on Splank! Records – Darft Phunk Vs SlackShot ‘I Dance U’
Have been the co-producer on ‘The Jay Cunning Breakbeat Sessions’ on Kiss for the past two years
Arranged a ten date tour around the country for Jay to promote the show
Have held down (just about) various admin temp jobs round London for EMI, ITV, BBC, Nickelodeon, Simply Red (WTF?) and others
Promoted ‘The Drop Off!’ @ Lockside Lounge for 12 months till they thought it had gone too specialised... what ev’s mate ;)
Have hosted three very fucking good birthday parties; one of which smashed the Lockside Lounge bar-take record!
Started a little management thang www.myspace.com/c23management
Did six weeks work experience at www.getinvolvedltd.com and have now been made full time :D
Helped launch the world’s first Ecological night club
And on Friday I am chaperoning the one and only CHUCK BERRY. I’m a little worried to say the least...
Oh. And I have posted a total of 5636 meaningless list of words strung together in shite english
Not too shabby I reckon
27/05 Mr MoneyShot's 30th Birthday Bash @ The Lock Tavern
A Non-Stop 14-Hour Festival Vibes Road-Block Party!
23/06 FLM Stage @ Gottwood Festival, Anglesey
20/07 Lake Stage @ Secret Garden Party
03/08 FLM Boat Party @ Stop Making Sense, Croatia
04/08 FLM Main Stage @ Stop Making Sense, Croatia
05/08 Playgroup Festival, Tunbridge Wells

Been a member since 2004
Posted quite a bit when I worked a shitty office job and depended on this place *slagging off people I'd never met* to get me through the day. In that time I helped run a night in Reading, rinsed its drug supply, and tried a few different aliases, not settling on any of them.
Since then have moved out to Italy, learnt Italian, started wearing oversized sunglasses, become a bit housier in my dj style (you love it you slags), and don't post so much as I spend most my time in the classroom.
What happened to nuskoolbreakshead, he was top dollar

Joined in May 2007, so almost ten years. Since then I bought a house, which I still live in. I've been to breakspoll and Flangestock several times, which was very cool.
