This 15 track album is the debut release by the Visionary Underground group, the brainchild of DJ FeelFree, VJ Coco and vocalist Damion. Cutting their teeth on the live circuit, the boys have etched down on wax their finest tracks, managing to mix up an amalgamation of styles, incorporating breaks, drum and bass, dub, hardcore, bhangra and more. Bringing in some special guests, such as Dr Das from Asian Dub Foundation and MC Navigator (Freestylers / massive Drum and Bass scene MC), Visionary roll through the album busting clever lyrics, bouncing beats and street rhythms. Stand out song for the breaks heads is “Eye of the Storm”, a Deekline & Wizard vocal-led style track that’s uplifting and touches all the right spots! Another knockout is the old skool influenced “Urban Uproar” featuring fantastic lyrics from MC Navigator. If these guys can produce a CD that captures all this engine, I can only imagine what their live shows must be like! Off the hook! Keep that grime firmly on to these guys. http://www.visionaryunderground.com
