Any recommendations?

Ideally I'm looking at something with 10"-12" screen, wifi, webcam for basic net use, music and if it can run Traktor all the better and the bigger the keyboard the better due to my phat phingers.

I've been looking at the Asus 1005HA - 1GB ram - 250 Gb HD and 8.5 battery life and £250 any other suggestions welcome.

and nooooooo..... I can't afford a Mac

I've got the one in the picture (I think). It's wicked and has a normal sized keyboard. Think spoll used it to dj with, so should be good enough? spoll is the man to ask :)

Our Chief Exec bought one of the Dell ones to work on the train with. I set it up for her, it seemed ok, but the keyboard was a bit fiddly like.

A Netbook with an Intel Atom processor could work with Traktor - but It'll stuggle a bit depending on what yr doing

To give you an idea about CPU scores:

Intel Atom N270 - PC passmark 305
Intel Pentium 4 2.4Ghz - PC passmark 322
Intel Core2Duo T770 2.4Ghz - PC passmark 1383

Didn't you say it could handle Photoshop when you first got one? I got my missus one based on your recomendation and it does the trick, but she just uses it for it's main purpose... as a 'net'book. I think the clue is in the title for anyone looking for a PC that can handle prosumer software. You might be better off looking for a decent second hand laptop Spesh.

Oh right, so in that case it doesn't accomodate it's main purpose  I'm sure my missus had this working for iPlayer though as the main reason I got it was so she could watch 'Enders in France. I will have a look tonight and see.
