Wasn't bad, was a little on the Disney side and had a couple of cringeworthy unnecessary 'modern' bits in it.
But on the whole it was quite enjoyable, Depp is quite good but his accent is a bit all over the place. A few peeps in the cinema clapped (oldschool!).

Saw this yesterday, not nearly trippy enough for a Burton flick but none the less, quite enjoyable. Matt Lucas and Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee was quality casting.

I absolutely loved it! was a bit worried it wouldn't live up to my expectations as I was so very excited beforehand... Boyfriend couldn't cope with the 3D cause he was still wankered though and another person in our group didn't think the 3D added anything to the film but I think Alice in Wonderland lends itself perfectly for it just as expected nowhere near in the same 3D league as Avatar.

Well done Mr Burton :D

I went to the midnight screening the day it opened....

tbh i was quite disappointed.

I was kind of expecting it to be the 'original' alice in wonderland... not a sequel to it (alice returning to wonderland when she's all grown up) =/ I expected it to be a bit more trippy (seeing as it was a burton movie)... and cant help but think that the original would have allowed a bit more room for 'trippy-ness' .... don't get me wrong.. it was enjoyable but I was reaaaaaally excited about this film when I heard they were remaking it so I guess I went in with really high expectations. :(

Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter in a Tim Burton Film.

How original Burton. Get a new formula. I'll download this one and watch it still. :\

Can't any worse than Burton's Wonka effort. One of the worst films ever made. Even worse than Bubba Ho-Tep.

Just got back from it and I have to agree with Oddi. The plot was very dull. I think Burton missed a trick by not sticking closer to the original source material... but then that probably would have had an 18 certificate

It did give me a quality headache though :woo:
