i am just eating a pickled egg, as my nanna bought me a jar of them at the weekend

they are :seen:

can you cook them in anything? or are they best eaten straight out of the jar on a fork?

Hmm...more of a gherkin girl meself, prefer the shape, makes them easy to hold and they make a good sound when you bite into em, but pickled eggs are also :seen: but nans are more :seen:

oh i wish i had a nice crunchy ghurkin

my nanna is seen, she once found me a very old tape with a song about gherkins on as she knows i love them so much

my nanna likes pickled walnuts, not so sure about them, bit scared....

I think you can add pickled onions to salads, and to cheese sarnies. Just make sure you're never too far away from a packet of tic-tacs ;)

Anything pickled rocks! Eggs, gherkins, onions, red cabbage, especially prone to a bit of beetroot, could easily polish a jar off on my own. The wifeys gramps makes his own and we get a jar every chrimbo! :drool: :D

mmmmm pickled onions in ya salad mmmmm i like those little ones you have on sticks with cheese at parties and i also like the massive ones that are spiced and super tasty and make your eyes water
