Work is killing me lately. We are massively understaffed and it's starting to do my head in to the point where I'm not actually doing any work at all. We were meant to have a new guy start this week and we all thought so until Monday morning when he didn't appear and then we were told "oh yeah. Forgot about that. He isn't starting anymore. We need to look for somebody else"

There is fuck all communication here and to say we deal with telecommunications, that takes the piss.

Public transport, but most particularly British trains.

In a professional capacity, people who fail to fill out a form properly (like where it says, "What is the patient's NAME", for example) and thus require me to spend a while listening to hold music, to get it from them. 10x if they're then arsey with me about it.

I say that sometimes, but only if the person who says it has a northern accent. I am usually amused by people with northern accents saying anything remotely modern or futuristic, cos their accents generally make them sound like they live in olden times.
