was quite glad for half time then. Milner should have scored early on really and our passing out of defence is shocking. Need to get that sorted or we are just going to get punished by their midfield picking up the stray balls we give to them.

meh not too bad 6.5/10 as baggers said the passing out of defence was sloppy.

could have been worse. same problem that has plagued England for years, i.e. keeping possession of the ball out of defence. looked OK going forward until that final pass to make a chance, squandered too many of them.

also:

You scored 19/22 = 86%.
This beats or equals 89.8% of test takers.
The average score is 13.

Couldn't think of 1991 for the life of me.

Yeah, they needed an outlet in midfield didn't they. A lot of the time it looked like they were playing an 8-0-2 formation - Welbeck and Young were very isolated most of the time.

Still, I thought they did alright all things considered. The French were quite disappointing and the match seemed to be played at a friendly pace, but I spose that could have been to do with the heat.

The thing that surprised me the most was the amount of empty seats in the stadium... were people really that put off by the racism shiz?

Thought that England did very well considering how shite and limited the players are.

one of the guys at work today was really disappointed England didn't have more of a go against France, especially as we had 3 players up front with some great feet and lots of pace. maybe he had a point, French defence wasn't particularly solid. can't help but feel we would have been murdered on the counter though.

tbh id rather lose/win 6-5 and go all out than grab one in the first 5 minutes and then try and hold on to it for 88 minutes

Harry managed to talk his way out of a job, not surprising as he doesn't know when to stfu. Still overall did a great job but cant stand listening to the constant shite that comes out of his gob.

It will prob blow up in Levy's face, the papers will be flogging every spurs player to back their media darling.

Would have been excited if Rodgers was still available, will have to make do with pep :)

 wow im suprised by that. Bet paul lambert is regretting jumping ship to aston villa quite so quickly now, would have probably been a contender for the spuds job

wonder what odds i can get on hodgson getting sacked if england get dumped out of the group stage and harry taking over

Will/should Nu-Rangers be allowed to continue in the Scotch Premier League next season?
