Used to do cross country at school but even then found it utterly dull. Running after loli is probably the only time that it's enjoyable. Only into getting fit where I have fun i.e. biking, chin ups, racquet sports.

So you used to run and found it dull but now run and find it exciting? Or you've just taken it up now?

I think I'm a thrill seeker and running just doesn't quite crack it.

well i had done a bit of jogging about before for the race for life fun run things and never really got it, and at school hated it. but this year i have found it quite exhilerating and an interesting test and stretch of my physical and mental capabilities, you sort of zone out of normal thought and concentrate on your body and its quite mad.

my boss runs marathons, although he started to get injuries. so he took up triathlons instead. i'll come in sometimes and there'll be all this coughing and spluttering form the office. upon asking how he is, I'll discover he's recovering form the flu which he's had all weekend, but still went for a bike ride and did a triathlon.

i think he might be addicted.
