Right I know I'm way behind the times on this one but PP9 has persuaded me that I really should give this a try so a couple of questions:

Does anyone have any codes/invites etc that would give me any free premium?

I've had a quick scan online and the sound quality difference between normal and premium appears to be 160kbps (yuck) to 320kbps (ok imo), is this right?

Anything I need to know or is it easy peasy?

use the free one. there is no premiums for free, it's a subscription service. and as shaman says, they pay very little, but still...

also with premium you don't have to be connected to the server as such, meaning you can take playlists on your phone, plus you don't get adverts.

i mainly use it to listen to stuff i might like to buy, so don't use it loads and therefore the free version is bearable.

i pay a tenner a month for the premium one and i absolutely love it, listen to loads more music than i could afford to do legally otherwise, i think it is genius, don't notice much of a quality issue generally with the type of stuff i listen to, plus making playlists to share is loads of fun

is in beta testing tbh, suspect its probably got a smaller selection at the minute but that will change, its based on pay per play instead of subscription, works out a hell of a lot cheaper than spotify. Billed as the equivalent of pay as you go phones

also theres 50 free credits when you sign up
