Hey y'all - I recently put together this 808 infused number in Reason. I'd really appreciate any feedback/suggestions I can get as I still have plenty of room for improvement ;)

Cheers - Lazy

All the percussion and the synth lead is very 'all down the middle' to me, this is expecially noticeable with headphones on listening to the intro - widen up the clap and the lead and i think that will make it sound fuller - plus the kick needs more umph. The whole mix sounds very dry and needs more depth imo - more delay and reverb. Have you got a spectral analyser to see width and frequencies?

to answer your question, no I don't have an analyzer - but I feel I could benefit from one - any recommendations? (keeping in mind that I'm working on less than a bargain budget)

To be honest mate I'm not too sure what is available I use the waves paz analyser as part of the diamond package which is not cheap - I'm sure someone on here can suggest a better/cheaper one! Good luck
