Which one's your favourite?

Have you ever been an owl?

Going with the snowy owl, myself. I'm deeply impressed by their hearing. But I have yet to become one. An owl, that is.

Nice random thread

I'm going for Barn Owl as they are the only one's I've seen in real life. They look really cool when they're hunting.

I was attacked by an owl, or rather my fluffy hooded parka jacket was.True story! I was walking around an exotic animal pet shop and i had no idea they had a big snowy owl on a perch in the rafters and it swooped down and grabbed my jacket hood and then my head with its talons. It was pretty painful on my head cos those things are sharp! The shopkeeper never apologised but he did go out of business soon after (nothing to do with me no one wants exotic animals round here it seems)

My eldest loves owls. We brought her an owl experience at a local sanctuary for her birthday last year. she loved it. get to fed them, care for them, hold them, and learnt a hell of a lot about them. Highly recommended if you like owls.

i drove back from cambridge one night

I think i was coming back from boomslang

I saw an owl in a tree just before leaving cambridge

so i stopped the car and went to have a look

i got quite close , maybe 30 feet

the owl looked at me and let fly a long stream of viscous owl shit then flew the fuck away

charming creatures

My brother was the best man at a wedding.

It was a really cringeworthy wedding.

At the point when he was meant to hand over the rings he was under instruction to pretend he had forgotten them, and then whistle loudly, at which point a massive owl would fly down the church, and land on his forearm, holding the rings in its claws.

He whistled and nothing happened, then whistled again and the owl let fly a long stream of viscous owl shit then flew to his forearm.

Trufax.

I almost wrote this TamStyle 8)

I always like this owl.

I liked the fact that he wrote his name "wol".

If I ever go to Disneyland I'm going to burn it down.
