Re Black Magic - so video i/o producer make a camera... how much is it?

Also, davinci resolve is free already, they now operate a free software / pay for hardware model. Final Cut X even has davinci resolve workflow built in!

Well it's the first affordable mon dslr option for video - can do pro res b2b raw- captures 13 stops simultaneously

The raw footage can't be used without grading however. Which could be a pain - more like 5 k all in for a decent setup.

Still wary if first gen technology and I don't have a thunderbolt enabled laptop for monitoring.

Chances are I'd shoot and then grain the be jesus out if it. Also super 35 means no real good wide options available .... A sgma 1.8 20 mm effectively becomes a 40mm in terms of actual capture..
