I am looking for a delay VST that I can pitch shift the delay tails so each one goes up in pitch, and possibly I could set the lengths and how much it changes. Im not sure if there is a free plugin out there that does his, but if anyone knows!

you could try http://kunz.corrupt.ch/products/tal-dub as an insert followed by http://bram.smartelectronix.com/plugins.php?id=2 and just automate madshifter. both are free. might not be quite what you want

not 100% but think it can be done with fabfilter timeless. also audio damage discord

Don't think it can be done with Timeless, though that is a wicked delay and I wish I had the cash for it! Definitely can be done with Discord 3 though, that's one of the prime plugs for doing it!

This is a really good freebie that I use quite a lot. You can automate the frequency shift and also the delay time which should do what you are after....I think.....

Given the range of offline possibilities from "bounce plugin to audio" and "code your own pitch shifting delay in CSound", that post is essentially useless.

if you had or if there is a plug in that analyses peaks in a waveform (like beat detection in traktor/maschine etc) and converts that to midi notes/triggers would be awesome for this if it existed/exists. it could pickup the delay/echo triggers on send and trigger harmonics etc.

SoundToys Crystallizer (http://www.soundtoys.com/product/Crystallizer) can do this - and plenty of other crazy stuff! - but it's pricey. If you're a student, you can pick up the whole native suite for $249 (https://www.soundtoys.com/edu). One of these days I'll get around to it...

hes hinting you could use the modules/macros and build your own ensemble. Or just hunt through one of the ten bazilllion freebie patches out there as theres prob one that already does it

ok what i meant was place the "echoes" where you want them , ie copies of orig sound on seperate audio tracks then use offline pitchshift for each one

also logic delay designer will do all this but not much use if you're not in logic
