Just wrapped my latest track, this one using the the Octatrack almost completely for everything aside from the initial sample trimming which I did in Live.

Very nice, at the gfs so wiil give it a listen later on my monitors. Have you done a review of this machine yet ?

I've read so much, been through the manual , sounds great but couldn't justify spending on it. What am I missing ?

I haven't done a review yet, though I'm hoping to get that done this week. As for what you're missing, well it's actually hard to describe. I'm hardware guy normally, so for me it's a really well thought out FUN TO USE sampler and audio manipulator. It gives me a way to do my live sets without having to use a laptop and the APC40, so for that alone it's worth it for me.

Yeah saw that on the Elektron users forum. Interesting, not sure its worth the added cost, though.
