I do it all the time in the summer. I find myself chastising the greedy ones and trying to throw bread to the ones who aren't getting any.

I was once working in Gargrave and there were some ducks near the canal. I was tearing bits of my tuna sarnie and they were enjoying it. But then the wagon came and I had to throw my full sandwich quickly. It was one slice, folded over. It bounced off the floor and sprang open. One duck grabbed it with his mouth and waddled off with lots of other ducks pecking at his bum. He was a cheeky scamp and made my day

You're quite a nice guy really aren't you.

They are. I haven't had duck for a while I have duck fat in my fridge. Thought I would try it as an alternate to goose fat for my roast spuds. Can't tell the difference.
