Bought it last year, played it for a while, forgot about it. Considering it was made by the people who did Fallout 3 (fucking amazing game, still a huge favourite) I was quite disappointed. In all honesty, it bored me to tears. Traded it in when I got Mass Effect 3 the other week, played that through in a week (great game, ending was a bit of a let down though) now I'm bored with no new games to play...

Ya see I bet you've got a life haven't you? ;)

For those of use who's middle name is Billy we need these 'boring' games. :cow:

Nope, very little life right now and I totally get the immense, running around, doing whatever the fuck you want side of games like Skyrim. I was a huge World of Warcraft addict for a while when I was laid up with a broken ankle (and for a while after), proper 25 man raids and everything. I think the problem I had with Skyrim was that I didn't find the storyline that engaging so the dialogue just dragged on and on and on...

In other news, currently going massive old skool and playing through Doom 2. Might go for Return to Castle Wolfenstein next :D

Love a bit of retro computer games... break out the Streets of Rage II or Midwinter

retro eh? i had rock and roll racing on the other day. On my SNES :)
I was thinking about all the people who said Skyrim was dull. A friend of mine is now playing another game in a similar style called kingdoms of amalur: reckoning. It plays unlike any other RPG i've ever played and would almost go as far as to say it's an action game with RPG element, but that's not really it either. It's fast and packed with action, but all traditional RPG elements are added in the mix and the result is quite impressive.

I've been watching a friend play it and it ís quite colorfull. No surprise though, designs where done by Tod McFarlane, who imho is one of the all time best comic artists ever. he did the amazing spiderman for quite a while and is the person who came up with Spawn (the comic). It's nothing like Fable though, for one it actually requires skill and it's far, far bigger the any of the Fable games.
I played Fable 2 and 3 which where a disapointment, but this one wont disapoint.

What is annoying me about skyrim is that all the characters are voiced by the same core of actors

Oblivion was worse for that. Although I enjoyed playing Oblivion much more... The story was more engaging.
