Specimen A - Hard Times / Exodus R.I.P [Funkatech]

no comment needed here.

Hard Times
In Funkatech's latest installment of our music will kill you, Specimen A deliver two slabs of hugery (pronounced Huge-ery).
Hard Times is like a big nasty breaks number that can is a fucking banger. this is something I can imagine being played at
festivals, and people going completely bananas. the shuffle step bit in the middle is pretty cool, and the preceeding (i guess
it would be considered dubstep now) part is way cool. its like part far too loud, part old rogue element, part super nasty
wobbly fidget house, part tear out, and all fucking peak as shit, although that said, it feels like there should be a vocal on it.
Who knows. It will kill im sure either way.

Exodus R.I.P
Not to be confused for artists who make that poppy techfunk stuff, Specimen A give a big kick in the face of breakbeat with
this (also) big as fuck jump up breaks tune. When it goes into the first main build with the sample from 28 days later, and the
completely fucking huge synths, you know you're about to get the breakbeat piledriver of death. cool way it comes back in,
i must say. while obviously this is not my personal musical cuppa, i'd be an idiot to think that this will not completely fucking kill it.
the bit on the main break is so spot on thought. good stuff.
