These tunes have some SERIOUS edge to them and are just a few of the tunes that I feel are really taking breaks back to a great place......
Wavewhore - More Life: This tune is HUGE right from the get go!!! Drone style bass and the perfect touch of atmosphere and FX give it a big feel and the hook on this bad mother is more addictive than potato chips and weed!!! The breakdown fully introduces the hook and builds this tune into the BADDEST BREAKS TUNE BY FAR THIS YEAR. I shit you not. Punchy bass and hook driven melodies push this tune through the roof and will no doubt equal absolute geeking on the dancefloor. This is the tune you play to set the club off....without a DOUBT! The second break has some words floating through it, i couldn't tell you what they say tho....im too busy banging my head and trying to write this up at the same time......Wavewhore OWNES
Wavewhore - More Life (ScrewFace RmX): For this remix Screwface throws in some intro biz full of airy pads and some beautiful fx, tossed in with the spoke word from the orig. As the tune builds and before the beat drop there's some EPIC keys and before you know it.......BASSSSS! Massive hoover's all in your face while the kick builds and the tune gears up for your run of the mill MASSIVE DROP
This remix screams Screwface and the tune is a perfect one to hand over to him for a remix. The rave piano comes back in the mix later on and gives the track some proper movement, before droping into the second breakdown. The wind ups in this tune have great anticipation and im a big fan of the rolling bass this remix flaunts. Screwface has done a great job of taking a tune that was once Wicked due to its hook, and turning out a top notch tune to back it with without even using the hook. LOVE IT!!
This one from the HB camp is Wavewhores first on the label and what a message to send! If I had to interpret it I would have to say it went a lil like this...."I will rock your FACE off!!!!!" This is one for the Tearout heads and it will be absolutely REQUIRED for you to have this one in your bag. This hits stores in October.....dont be surprised to see this MP3 SOLD OUT
