That Girl DJ - Noise/Go Commando/Noise (Mobius "Random Gazebo" Mix)

That Girl DJ is at it again with another tasty release on Re:Connect Recordings. I just gotta say she has really outdone herself on this one! The release came out this week exclusively on Beatport, and will be out everywhere else in about two weeks!

Following on from where her first single ‘Mi Casa Su Casa’ left off, and once again proving that the producing world isn’t a total sausage-fest, That Girl DJ combines her love of all things electro/house, as well as her passion for solid breaks.

First up is ‘Noise’ - I'm beside myself with this one to be honest. The promo material says this an electro house track. I guess you can call it what you will, That GIrl DJ certainly has captured the vibe and spirit of breaks in this tune! Groovy buzzing bassline, check! More squeaks, zaps and bleeps than you can shake a stick at, most definitely! All together a slammin track that should let everyone know TGDJ can surely make noise with the boys!

Noise (Original Mix)

Next up is 'Go Commando' - No questions asked That Girl DJ is all about the breaks on this one. This is the gem of the bunch in my eyes or ears i guess. Lovely punchy drums, synth swirls and stabs, and a touch of old skool flavor in there too. Starts off nice and mellow and by the first drop quickly builds to a peak time frenzy! Oh Yeah giggity giggity!

Go Commando (Original Mix)

Last but not least is 'Noise (Mobius"Random Gazebo" Mix) Rounding off the package here are South Coast boys Mobius. Mobius give this one a complete breakbeat makeover which verges on a tearout style growling bassline, whilst keeping plenty of the original features intact. Proper nu skool vibe on this re-rub! Sure to get the thinkers and the wallflowers out on the floor with the rest of the freaks!

Noise (Mobius 'Random Gazebo' Mix)

Get it now from Beatport, and all other stores from 5th November onwards.

Here's just a handful of the feedback so far:

Drummatic Twins: Great package – solid stuff – Go Comando pips it for me. full support to an artist who has lent her support to the scene for a long time

General Midi: like this a lot, will definitely play

Cut La Roc: Yeah like it, think the orig mix of the noise is my fave

Lee Diverted: Go Commando is an instant grabber, well like this one, good bounce, cheeky riff

Ben & Lex: been lucky enough to have got this a while back and Go Commando is the funking NUTS!!!!!!! been rinsing so much. Loving the Mobius remix of Noise and the original as well haha top freaking package this . go tgdj and re:connect

Kickflip: Great to hear more of Abi’s musical output, Noise is my favourite of the bunch!

Freq Nasty: kool electro vibes

Plaza De Funk: Loving Noise and Go Commando is a top tune too. Wicked release!

Peo De Pitte: Noise is for me, will play! Thanks!!!

Definitely one to watch! All in all I'd say this is just the hottness we need to get through those long cold winter months ahead!
