Air continues its run at Cargo, with another face-achingly fine mix of live bands and DJs. This month they welcome the much-heralded
Kraak & Smaak who’ll be showcasing tracks from their forthcoming second album and joining in-house band, Diverted, plus DJs Ali B, Janette Slack, and Mr No Hands.
Kraak & Smaak (Live)
This seven piece funk phenomenon from the Netherlands have been winning over audiences, with UK support from the likes of Radio One’s Pete Tong, Zane Lowe and Rob Da Bank. Since releasing their debut album Boogie Angst they’ve played over 200 live shows, supported the stadium-rocking Faithless on their European tour and played some of the most prestigious gigs in the USA including Coachella and SXSW. Their Breakspoll 2008 appearence really highlighted the in-roads they are making in the alternative funk-edged breaks scene. Their second album Plastic People will be released on April 7th through Jalapeno Records. Don’t miss their second appearance for Ali B’s Air night at Cargo
