grrrrrrr...can't feckin' get in no matter what I do...dl'd mIRC after web wouldn't work...won't connect to any of the wikkedwire servers...even went to wikkedwire.com and found the #nsb_radio channel and it wouldn't connect to any of the servers...i'm on a work laptop, and though i have some local admin rights, i don't have all-is it possible there's some policy config type script b.s. that would block the irc port 6667 entirely?? i just found out the hard way that they've already blocked windows media player from any 'features' such as skins or 'full mode' via a script of some sort, so no matter how many times i remove and reinstall it i will never get the full mode...gonna have to assume that's indeed wtf is up...BUMMER.

guess i'll just have to get a new laptop then eh?

its probably not the laptop but the network

are you connecting through a work connection?

or do you have a firewall application on your laptop?

try ang go into control panel on your comp and find java.. duble click and you should get a box saying java control panel.. near the bottom you have a button called settings.. click it.. then click the delete temp java files.. make sure both check bosxes are checked and press ok.. after it finnesh work.. restart your browser..
