the thing about massive... its a pretty flexible synth with plenty of different filters, sound sources, lots of easy to apply modulation and routing options. if you are just starting out with synthesis, sack off the presets and start from an initialised sawtooth and you can learn tons from it.

of course if you are after insta-boshbosh-uberwobble it does that too, but much more fun creating your own sounds from scratch imo and you wont sound like everyone else.
