first time i've written guitar and bass then put the rest to them. I usually start with drums tbh.

sounds very nice

the realness of the guitar/bass makes the drums sound a bit weak,

i would steal a cymbal from a drummer and record a bit of that for a bit more real in the drums

a bit of real cymbal on top of programmed kik/snr goes a LOOOOOOONG way

i might wait until i get down south to rehearse the band, and get the drummer to play it all. standing over him shouting that i'll cut his cock off if he makes a mistake (he's done the same to me recording bass tbh, it's an odd studio).

drummers are a pain the backside

steal a cymbal, buy one from crack converters, also a hi hat

kicks and snares can be faked , hats and cymbals can be faked but its a lot easier to just get a mic and put it on the real thing and catch a good bar

I have access to a whole range of musical things and potentially a studio up here. might bumrush their setup for smapling lols, got a real nice field recorder thing at work... hmmmm.

I love it apart from the kick which sounds a little boxy. but i'm really REALLY feeling your stuff clod, which I rarely say about anything on here at all.

yeah, the drums probably need some more natural swing etc. deffo a learning curve when it comes to using more than 1 'real' thing per track.
