Mine would be DJ Love. His style epitomises everything breakbeat should be, all sampled drums, hip hop samples, scratches and some of the best basslines in the business. He stuck to his guns and produced some tracks that never leave my crate.

So under appretiated is he that I couldn't find a single tune of his on Youtube, but tracks like Underground Funk, Flowin, The Ride and Steady Fire to name a few are stone cold classics of the genre.

I think he overdoes the fills slightly. No doubt though he is a very special drummer. I could only ever hope to be 1% as good as him.
