I would guess those big into the genre it might call it cheesy, but pretty much every tune is a killer

you guess right

*personally*, i find them a bit cheesy for my normal dnb tastes (prefer the dark/techy stuff like of klute, break, teebee, calyx, bse, prode, raiden, and the proggy stuff like future engineers, electrosoul system, etc - not to mention the musical stuff like the aforementioned london elek) but i dont mind them that much. their tunes absolutely rip it up in small doses - its just you dont want more than one per hour or it starts getting a bit wearying: i went to the hold your colour launch tour and was bored within 10 minutes*, whereas in a diverse set, with only one pendulum tune in, that'll be the one that blows up.

however, generally, they are a bit of a marmite proposition- some ppl rate them massively, but an equal amount slate them vitriolically.

* interestingly, the tune that blew up the most at that night was the pendulum + freestylers breaks tempo one. i guess proving my point that when you stack pendulum tunes end-to-end they rather lose their impact, so it was when something obviously different came on that ppl went nuts.

They're coming about an hour and a half away from me next week. Havent quite decided yet if I'm gonna make the trip out, but it's a possibility.

Supposed to be playing at a thing with them in Preston (of all places :? ) on the 28th October - looking forward to it.

Have to say i find most of their tunes overly cheesy, but they are amazingly well produced and always seem to rip the place up.

To me DnB has too many parallels with punk. It started off as a sonic revolution. Then idiots got involved and wanted the music louder, faster...more idiotic. I can't listen to braindead, frantic punk or braindead, frantic DnB. Sure there are talented guys and girls on the scene but they are scarce. And since the rise of the ASBO MC it's really gone to the gutter

Out here is cool

Fasten your seatbelt I quite liked

Slam sounds like a rip off of Sub Focus' X Ray with more stilton

These lads are from my home town Perth, Western Australia. Big ups to them, finally some respect where respect is due. They do know their stuff and always rock a party over here.
