I think comparisions with the plumps are unaviodable for rogue at the moment. It's totally down to personal preference as to which you like more. I'd say that rouges style is even more "in your face" than the recent plumps stuff, but their tracks are a bit better arranged. Some of rouges tracks sound a little "over crowded". But these a such minor things their both bloody brilliant.

well said J_men, but you do know Im right...come on admit it...hehe!

nah, only teasin....I agree though, plump are awesome, rogue is awesome too, there's loadsa cool sh*t out there at the moment. I just think when people compare people with plump thats so wrong, cause there is something really special about plump, that NO-ONE will be able to touch (I know thats gonna annoy a few people, so Im apologising now!), but their production and music structure is just phenominal....but hey you know that already! haha ;)

sorry, Im very bias...in fact I'll argue this point till im blue in the face...hehe...so iI'll shut up now. :D

I agree that the rogue element are really good at what they do and Let me Breathe is one of my favourite tunes of this year, but they are overusing "their sound" a bit. The new remix on Mob is just too similar to Backbreaker for my liking. I'm no expert on producing but it must get a bit boring when you making all your main hooks on the same synth sound.

But yeah what do I know?

How dyu mean your bias???Is this becasue your one of those fans who follow them round with autograph books and hang on to the DJ Box asking them every single tune they play or are you related to them or sumthin?

Rogue Element's stuff has been top notch all year and '`backbreaker' is definately one of the tunes of the moment.

Don't really see the Plumps comparison myself...sure both outfits have a certain energy and a very individual and recognisable style, but they're doing very different things.

Rogue's sound can seem a bit busy sometimes, agreed, but you need someone pushing the limits of the genre and I think he is one of the producers doing that at mo.

Nice
