You just know it's a good day when a new 2-track release from HEDFLUX touches down!

Fans of Mindcell and Revolve will just lap up Diversion which is classic Hedflux through and through. What might raise a few eyebrows however is the flipside which is his long-awaited colab with rising star Bad Tango - Slippery Triplet is a little different, because as the name suggests it's in triple time...but enough rant, just check out the tunes already...

HEDFLUX: Diversion

HEDFLUX & BAD TANGO: Slippery Triplet

Both tracks are out now on Beatport, with other stores following in a couple of weeks :sun:

stunning production but I'm not really hearing anything I haven't heard a thousand times over the last year or so and I <3 Hedflux. Very Very formulaic IMVHO

these tunes will smash it in the club no doubt, just wish they weren't still using the same formula and patches for the psy and for the bass as everyone else/previous releases. Heard these patches / close relations thereof very often

7/10 - solid release as usual but nothing new/original/inspiring happening here

I disagree.

I like both of these a lot!

Slippery Triplet is very slinky indeed, like a chocolate eel swimming in molten liquorice.

slippery trilplet is simply amazing and is definitely not formulaic. Very exciting release indeed!

absolutely agree! Steve is amazing producer, but his last tunes are not so heavyweight and various like years back

Really? How many other psy-breaks tunes in 6/8 time can you name? ;-)

different time signature with the exact same bass and psy edity patches as every other tune(I was pretty specific)

look I don't want to troll Hedflux here, he's shit hot and I'm a huge fan, just bored of the same noises, regardless of time sig.
