I'm all for remixes that really fuck with the original but the two that I previously mentioned.............. *shakes head*

I disagree with you about To The Left though. The drop halfway through is basstastic :badger:

Do you think it's better than the original/LED mix then?

Stantons are the only big breaks act who play breaks through their whole sets and not rely on cheesy back packer hip hop or dwub step.

To be pedantic they've been playing dubstep tracks for a while. That Miami mix on their soundcloud from a couple of years ago has a couple of dubstep tracks on there!

Anyway I like this remix, bit surprised at some of the miserable bastards!

Yeah the original version of To The Left is pretty much the same I agree, but I think that bassy drop works better with a breakbeat. It's more sexyfied, it has more of a swagger to it. Plus the bassline is more varied in the Stantons remix.

Gorrillaz – Feel Good Inc - good remix to get the girls dancing. Nothing special though and doesn't differ from the original very much. On a par with this Boys Noize remix. 7/10
Apollo 440 – Dude Descending A Staircase - Brilliant, lots of that trademark Stantons swagger. Tbh I can't really remember the original, but this remix is the lads on top form imo 10/10
Goose – Bring It On - Probably one of my favourite remixes of theirs. Again I'm not familiar with the original, but this remix is the badger's nadgers. The big drop is 'mazin 10/10
Deetah - Honey Lollipop - don't know it
Chemical Brothers - Saturate - Pointless. They take a beautiful tune with lush live sampled drums and put a rigid breakbeat over it. Unneccessary. 1/10
Coburn - We Interrupt This Programme - It's alright. Another example of a remix that is v similar to the original, but I think the breakbeat improves it, like the To the Left remix, it adds some swagger and a touch of filth. Neither versions are my cup of tea though. 4/10
DJ Mehdi - Signatuned - See Coburn comment above ^ but more on a par with the Boys Noize remix. Don't like it really, although I do recall dancing like a lunatic to it on various occasions in the past (whilst heavily under the influence of chemicals, of course) 5/10
Plump DJs - Shifting Gears - Massive improvement on the weak original. 8/10
PMT - Gyromancer (Stanton Warriors Remix) - It's a subtle one, but the drums suit the vibe of the track perfectly and make it more dancefloor friendly imo. I don't think I could dance to the original tbh. 7/10

I played the stantons rmx of bring it on at the nsb xmas party and the mc tried to rap over it

Betty, if you play that rmx I will buy you a hotdog. With special bbq sauce.

Oh and yes that SHM remix, like the original, was atrocious. Negative bazillion out of ten.

The BPA- Toe Jam - good, a steady 8/10
Young MC - Know How - by far one of my favourites - 10/10
LCD Soundsystem - Disco Infiltrator - SOOO glad they eventually gave that away - 10/10

I didn't forget them.

Know How makes me want to dance around in baggy trousers. I will try and play Goose then for a guaranteed imaginary hotdog.

Good Vibrations is very good if I'm absolutely cunted and watching Hugh abuse Mensas
