yes it was. [oldmancorner] check out Dan F - Zhenge, Go See Yor Doctor and more. PMT - Gyromancer, Sholih, Noel Sanger etc. They stopped making that stuff about 6 years ago at least.

not saying it's a bad tune, but it ain't new if you've been around the block like a few of us have, which again, ain't a problem if it gets you darned kids dancing, but please, don't pass it off as new. ;)

okay. I give up!! I am glad I haven't been around the block then, because for me lots of stuff IS new as I didn't listen to all these older tunes... I am glad you guys had your great days of breaks when they were great etc, but not jealous cos I am finding stuff today that sounds fresh to me and therefore does it really matter if it is new and inventive?

i am caught in a time loop between a place where everything is wrong because it's sounds different to the old stuff and everything else sounds wrong because it sounds like the old stuff.

here. woggle. look at it this way. if you think the new stuff sounds fresh, there's a world of old stuff out there to discover which will sound just as fresh and a lot of other people won't have heard it before. i envy you really, because there's so much great music to stumble upon.

plenty of knowledge and experience here.

As long as you enjoy it, it's fine. Stuff gets rehashed, its the nature of music, it goes in cycles.
You can listen to some 'new' DnB that sounds like stuff from years ago.

It's always going to sound fresh to people who haven't heard it before and there's nowt wrong with that.

Oh and PMT - Gyromancer :lurve: :lurve: :lurve:

shaman said kinda what i wanted to in a more positive way! i'm not dissing that track or you for finding/posting it, was just trying to point you in the direction of some fine breaks!

i always used to find great new music that had been out for 4 or 5 years, as people kept adding old content to the increasing numbers of digital stores.

What Shaman and Erebus said :bo:

Tbh I'm still a relative n00b when it comes to a lot of old berks, mostly because of the digi revolution, as Shaman said. A lot of those tunes simply weren't readily available back in the days of vinyl only.
