1.5 yr old krk rokit

makes a fuzzing scratching noise after being on for 10 mins - some kind of 'problem' inside it. has happened before with another monitor that got replaced under warranty. could be a simple electrical fix for someone who has 1/10th of an idea about this jiggery pokery...

it's 125 £ to fix including shipping

or

168 £ for a new one with warranty

The fact it happens after about 10 minutes implies that it's heat related which in turn implies it is could well be nothing more than a dry solder joint.
