I've never eaten a pickled egg. Do they taste more of pickle, or egg? They always look dead creepy sitting on a jar on the side of a fish and chip shop. Too scared to try them.

They are slightly creepy as they are not too far removed from a preserved chicken's foetus in a formaldehyde filled jar. They are cracking with chips tho'.

Overall the Gherkin (ogorka) is the king of pickles!

They just taste like a hard boiled egg covered in vinegar 8)

I always have one with fish and chips. love them

pickled chillies are by far the best pickled grub though :badger:

there's some company called Hamishma or something similar that does the best pickles ... we went through a sickening amount of jars of their gherkins at a festival this summer :yummy:
