No I don't. If a story is gripping enough to fill three hours then it is gripping enough to fill three hours.

I will admit though that I would rather watch a 3 hour long movie at home on my sofa with my feet up, pause function and close toilet and kitchen facilities. On VHS. With tracking.

this ^

Especially the bit about the tracking

I thought the first scene in it was amazing :) I liked the rest of it but it didn't overly blow my skirt up.

Finally went to see this at the Waterloo Imax last night.
Wasn't as good as The Dark Knight.
The Joker provides manic energy to balance out Batman's stoicism.
Bane and Bruce Wayne are as tedious as one another
- even Cat Lady can't jizz them up much.
And three hours is too long
- although my nausea, twitching, aching bones and cold sweats (indulgent weekend) probably didn't help.

Bit of let down really. Pretty boring for most of it, full of clichés, nothing memorable that's for sure. Some good action but it really seemed like it was rushed and Nolan didn't particularly give a shit about the finished article. The batwing is probably the shittest vehicle I've ever seen in a film  I've never seen a machine more blatantly attached to some sort of crane in a film in my life. Most of the cinema was laughing whenever there was supposed to be suspense, in fact the batwing was probably the only 'suspenseful' part of the film. When they had 12 hours to deactivate the bomb, what the fuck was batman doing painting a 100ft bat on that bridge? I know it's a film but Jesus, that would've taken about a week to do on your own. The battle in the street was absolute gash, not to mention incoherent (there were a few guys you saw die straight away, only for them to be alive a couple of scenes later, then die again). No need for all that prison business. Far too obvious that that copper would be Robin. Bane is almost as boring as Bruce Wayne and sounds like Alan Partridge on a ventilator. Anne Hathaway needs a pie or two. Albert has the worst fantasies ever imagined.

Overall :badger: :violin: :violin:

Pretty much that. Plus I couldn't understand what bane was saying. But I though the tart on the bike had a nice butt

So it's a 10 from me
