lol

BARE GARLIC (ail de quebec), necking it by the bulb.

also good oranges/citrus, papaya, ontario apples, blueberries, maple sugar shacks, cranberries, tomatoes etc. i'd say the quality is much higher than uk, on a par with france/italy for some things. proximity to us/mexico and lots of ontario fruits means good produce. also organic is a big deal here. good ethnic foods too, lots of supermarkets catering for chinese/viet/jap, indian, mexican, ethiopian, italian, etc.

sounds supreme. athens ohio apparently is big for organic too. looks a bit parochial mind, unlike bingham.

There is a wine maker near athens ohio that specialises in mead. I like it: skyrim.

I wonder what root beers are available in north america...?

mango season is fuelled by mexico/s america. seen a few in the markets in montreal at $13 a case but haven't tried yet. athens is pretty good location imo, columbus etc is very buttoned up academia land isnt it? should be a nice area to be. spitting distance to canada! we could meet in toronto or NY, probably take us the same amount of time to get there..

us has a lot of organic stuff, gilroy maybe the garlic capital of north america in california and lots of markets and types of supermarket, more variety than uk.

you will find good veggies and fruits, don;t worry.

many, i'd imagine. sold in many food places. most bars/pubs make more money on food here it seems so there are lots of night places that are food focused.

lots more hippy reg supermarkets here and 'bulk' stores where you buy stuff without packaging and in amounts you need only which is good.

Yeah man. Apparently half the population of Athens are affiliated with the university. I'm started to get food excitement!

How many types of garlic have you seen?

You don't really feel the garlic rush do you? I can't seem to induce it. Am I out of touch? Not eating enough? Bad garlic?
